The function “Power()” returns the result of a number raised to a certain power. Let’s have a look at the examples shown below:
As you can see above, to find the power of 4 stored in B3 raised to 2 in cell C3, we have to type “= POWER (B3,C3)”. This is how power function works in Excel.
Syntax of Power formula
The syntax of the Power function is as follows:
=power(number, power)
You can also get Power of values in cells by:
=Power(C1,D1)
Here you will get power(D1) of number in cell C1.
