Understanding SUMIFS Formula
SUMIFS is a function for calculating the sum of cells that meet multiple criteria. When corresponding cells meet criteria, SUMIFS can be used to sum values. SUMIFS supports logical operators (>,<,<>,=) and wildcards (*,?) for partial matching.
Syntax of SUMIFS function
The syntax of the SUMIFS function is as follows:
=SUMIFS (sum_range, range1, criteria1, [range2], [criteria2], …)
Note: SUMIF is used to match single criteria while SUMIFS is used to match multiple criteria.
