Understanding Minimum Formula
Minimum formula is used when we want to find the minimum value within a range of cells.
Assume there is a range of cells with the values 1,2,3,45. In this case, 1 is the minimum value in the given range.
Syntax of Minimum formula
The syntax of the MINIMUM function is as follows:
=MIN(value1,value2,value3…)
We can insert a range of cells into the MIN function, for example:
=MIN(C1:C4)
The function above will look within the cells in range C1 to C4, and return the Lowest value.
